OUR GOAL: The goal of all of our titles and topics is to offer hope. We share our stories, insights, expertise, and inspiration—all without pompous imperatives or plastic platitudes. Our authors open up their lives and invite readers in to see their struggles and to share their discoveries and hope. Our focus is “recovery friendly” and filled with a spirituality that welcomes other people of faith. Spiritually-minded people of faith, whatever their stripe, will find a safe and shame-free resource in all our materials. |
OUR HISTORY: Jerry Seiden founded Spirit of Hope Publishing in 1999 as a means to share a message of hope and the conviction that "Spirituality is the best healing resource for life's struggles!" Also the publishing work was Jerry's form of "Tent-Making" ... to make money to support his non-profit ministry including help for ADDers, recovery meetings, outreach to prisoners, etc. Publisher/Pastor, Jerry Seiden has long used his talents as a freelance writer/editor to help fund his ministry work. He's written/edited over 60 published titles related to recovery, self-help, and spirituality. But most of his work has been behind the scenes as a contract-writer (ghostwriter).
